Judi still killing it at the Slalom skating World Championship 2007Judi Oyama started skating when she was 13 years old. Her dad would drive her to the skate parks up and down the Californian coast, and then he would play golf. A professional photographer, Judi Oyama's father has documented her skating from day one.
Judi Oyama is now in her 50's, living in Santa Cruz and still finds time to skate! She is a professional slalom skater and skaterboarder, plus the Vice President of Board Rescue, a non profit organisation which dedicates itself to provide skate equipment for children from low income families.

In 1987 she founded Maximum Impact Design, which has been designing cool graphics for surf, skate and snow, for over 20 years. If this isn't amazing enough, Judi Oyama is a former Women's World Champion and holds 4 slalom world records. She believe's that "You only live once" so "it's never too late to start" skating.
